When God seems far from us as we travel on life’s highway, all we have to do is look around us at the Master Artist’s work in His awesome creation, and suddenly we are like a child seeing his first star in the darkness of the night — caught up in, “Yes, Lord, though You seem far from me in my dark night of the soul, I am forever grateful for the air You provide, for the birds, the trees, the babbling brook. And, oh yes, thank You for my somehow being a part of all of this beautiful story of Your glory here on Earth.”
